Celebs Who Have Covid
Tom Hanks surprised everyone, and maybe himself, too, when he contracted the coronavirus in March. Along with his wife, Rita Wilson, he was one of the first celebrities in the West to be diagnosed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, they were in Australia for the filming of a new movie.
Just like others, Hanks feared for his life. He believed he was immunocompromised for having other health issues, aside from being 63 years old. Despite the fears, however, the couple were not worried at all, knowing that his case was not the worst. Credits to his excellent health, the Saving Private Ryan star’s temperature didn’t spike up, and his lungs were okay, so he’s pretty calm about it. After going through this horrific situation, Hanks advised everyone to wear their masks, practice social distancing, and always wash their hands to avoid contracting the virus.
